Released in 2005 as part of their Sauber Formula One program, and in production until 2010, the M5 is BMW’s high performance version of their popular 5 Series model, and was also the first of their 5 Series models to be powered on a 5 litre V10 engine.
This particular model comes in Coupe, Sedan and Wagon specifications, but it’s the Coupe model we offer to book for driving experience days here on TrackDays. It’s built on an adapted version of the 5 Series chassis, and utilises a lot of the same technology and engineering.
The V10 engine packs out an impressive 500 bhp, with achievable top speeds of 155 mph, accelerating from 0 - 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and 0 - 100 mph in 7.8 seconds, meaning this is one ride you’ll remember for years to come.
The M5 is a renowned performance car available at a number of track locations throughout the country. If you're in the UK, the track selection lets you experience all that the M5 has to offer.
Booking a BMW Experience
We strive to make your event scheduling as easy as possible. Choose between either an open gift certificate or an up-to-date calendar booking. If the dates you have chosen for your trip are not available on the voucher page, please contact our Customer Service team for up-to-date availability.
You should verify the gift card's validity term since certain BMW deals and experiences do vary - standard term is 10 months. It will be clearly stated on the booking how long you have to activate your experience. Keep in mind that your chosen day and hour are still subject to availability.
When you reserve an experience it will usually be verified within 48 hours. A receipt is immediately provided when you request a booking. This is not a final confirmation of your day and time.
Also, while purchasing BMW M5 Experiences, note that the driver must fulfil all age, weight, height, and driving licence requirements. It is essential to cover all of the key elements of any event for safety reasons.
We normally specify whether the experience is exclusively for younger drivers in the package name - but this is not always the case. The driver will most likely be refused the chance to drive if they do not fulfil the requirements on the day of the BMW Experience.
