Porsche 997 Turbo Driving Experiences

The 997 Turbo was first seen at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006. The engine used for the Turbo comes from the ever dependable 964/GTI design. According to the official spec reports from Porsche, the 997 turbo can do 0-60 in 3.8 seconds with the Manual transmission and 3.7 seconds with the Triptonic S transmission. Further testing had the Porsche reach 60mph in 3.2 seconds, beating many of its competitors and also the pricer Porsche Carrera GT.
