Drive a Bus in Kent – A Unique Driving Experience! Step into the driver’s seat for an exciting 30-minute bus driving experience at a professional training centre near Sandwich. This fun and unique adventure is hosted by a leading driver training school. Typically, this centre trains commercial drivers for Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licenses. But for these taster sessions, all you need is a regular driving license. You’ll be driving an Alexander-Dennis Enviro 200 single-decker bus – the same type you’ll find in town centres, airports, and rural routes across the UK. Ever ridden one? Now’s your chance to take the wheel. Driving a bus is a very different experience compared to driving a car. The bus is around three times longer, and although you’re on private roads away from traffic, it can still feel like a whole new world. Don’t worry, the Enviro is fully automatic, and your expert instructor will be with you every step of the way. Start with a short session perfecting your reversing skills, then get ready for around 20 minutes of real bus driving around the training centre’s road layout.
