Bus Driving Experience in Kent – 45 Minutes of Fun! Ever wanted to drive a bus? Now’s your chance! Enjoy a 45-minute bus driving experience at a professional training centre near Sandwich, hosted by a leading driver school. Normally, this centre trains future commercial drivers for their Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licenses. But for this unique taster experience, all you need is a regular driving licence! You’ll be behind the wheel of an Alexander-Dennis Enviro 200 – a modern, low-emission bus seen in towns, airports, and routes across the UK. If you’ve ever ridden on a bus, it was probably an Enviro! Bus driving is a whole new challenge compared to a car. These vehicles are about three times longer! But don’t worry, the Enviro is fully automatic, and your experienced instructor will guide you through it. Your 45-minute adventure includes 10 minutes of practising reversing and 20 minutes driving the bus around the centre’s tarmac layout. Plus, you’ll get 15 minutes as a passenger while your instructor takes you on a spin through the local roads.
