For an ultimate off grid opportunity free of the limits of the road, and definitely on the wilder side of life, it has to be our 4x4 Off Road Driving Experience day packages we have on offer.

If you’re not afraid of getting dirty and love getting out into the countryside, our 4x4 Off Road experiences offer it all - mud, water, demanding gradients and sheer drops over landscapes that will take your breath away. It is quite simply one of the toughest yet most rewarding driving experiences we offer.

We’ve got only the very best vehicles for such conditions and terrains, including the highly popular Land Rover Discovery and Land Rover Defender, or if you fancy a 4x4 drive that doesn’t skimp on comfort, our Mercedes Benz GLE is just the ticket.

And when we say our 4x4 off-roading experiences are challenging, we mean it. You’ll be put to action on skiddy and sharp inclines and declines, mud holes, water crossings and deep troughs that only the most fearless drivers are up to the task of.

Your safety is a prime consideration in all our off road experience days. But whether you’re at a novice or expert level, our expert BORDA (British Off Road Driving Association) approved instructors will be on hand to help maximise the most of what is sure to be a memorable time behind the wheel.

Fasten your seatbelt in our Land Rover Defender for our Mad Max Truck Driving Blast package. You will be tackling a variety of arduous terrains, on a course that the military use for training to become highly skilled off road drivers when they’re on duty. Or why not discover the thrills of driving an ACV on our all new Hovercraft Driving packages at venues in Warwickshire and Leicestershire? We’re always happy to receive Corporate or Group Bookings, so many of these packages would make an unusual team building day idea.

But it’s not just adults who get to experience the rough and tumble we offer on our 4x4 Off Road experiences. Junior drivers aged 10 - 17 can demonstrate their nerves of steel and mastery with our Junior Off Road 4x4 Experience - a fantastic gift idea for birthday or Christmas presents for those young motorists in waiting with a taste for the outdoors.

We have locations across the UK - Chillington Hall in Wolverhampton (Midlands); Duncombe Park in Yorkshire (North East); West London Shooting School in Middlesex; Loseley Park in Guildford (London with easy access from the South East and Kent); Euston Hall in Suffolk; Henley-in-Arden in Warwickshire (Midlands).

There are two easy ways for you to purchase a 4x4 Off Road Driving Experience. You can either purchase one of our driving experience days as an open 10-month gift voucher or book directly onto an available date of your choice using our events calendar. The gift voucher even has the additional option of turning it into a gift package, making it the most special present whatever the occasion.

If you cannot see any dates on the voucher page, then simply e-mail or call us and our customer service team can give you the most up to date availability. If you wish to make a bespoke package, or are interested in making one of our driving experiences into a group event or corporate event, please contact us by going to our corporate days page and filling in our enquiry form.

If you buy an open gift voucher for a 4x4 Off Road package, the standard validity period to use the voucher is 10 months. However, please make sure you check this first, as some 4x4 Off Road vouchers and special offers may have a shorter or longer validity.

If you are booking directly onto a date for a driving experience, please note that you are making a booking request, and the date and time that you choose will still be subject to availability.

We usually confirm bookings within 48 hours, but we ask that you do not make any arrangements in conjunction with your booking request until you have received your final confirmation email. The receipt we send you after making a booking request is not your confirmation.

Other important things to consider when purchasing driving experiences for the 4x4 Off Road is that the driver meets all requirements in terms of age, weight, height and driving licence. These requirements are unique to each driving experience, so please ensure you have read the important information thoroughly.

If an experience is for junior drivers only, we will usually mention this in the name of the package, but not in all cases. If you place a booking for a driving experience, and the driver doesn’t meet the requirements on the day, then it is unlikely they will be able to drive the vehicle, in which case they will be offered a passenger ride where available.

Affectionately named ‘the Disco’ by its fans, and in production for three decades, the Land Rover Discovery is the leading British name in 4x4 off road vehicles. In fact it’s aptly named, as it can be used to go anywhere and for everything, from safari to farming, making it an ideal choice for one of our 4x4 off road experience days.

It is the most enjoyable driving experience you can have at 5mph, weighing in at a sturdy 2150kg, and a 2.5 litre engine packing 135 bhp, ensuring that it is more than up to the task of tackling all those terrains that lie ahead on your driving experience day.
