Junior Driving Experiences: An Introduction
Is your child fanatic about Formula 1? Are they obsessed with supercars? At Driving Experience, they’ve got the chance to make their motoring dreams come true, and get behind the wheel on some of the biggest and best supercars in the world, with our Junior Driving Experience packages.
They’ll get the opportunity to prove their talent in real Lamborghinis, Aston Martins and McLarens to name but a few. As long as they can reach the pedals and see over the dashboard, they’ll be good to go. Please bear in mind that some of our packages do have a minimum age requirement, so we ask that you ensure you check for these before you make the booking to avoid disappointment.
We also offer our Young Driver Training Experiences for 10 - 16 year olds, which are the perfect introduction to give them a head start on how to drive, and learn a valuable skills set that will help them become the drivers of tomorrow when they start driving lessons for real. There’s a wide variety of courses on offer to young drivers - and non-licence holders - and we have fully qualified instructors on our 30 Minute Young Driver Experience who will help them learn everything they need to know from start to end.
Are Junior Driving Experiences Safe?
When you book one of our junior packages, you can have total peace of mind that all safety precautions are accounted for before your child gets behind the wheel. Our cars will have either dual controls as you would find in a standard driving instruction car, or they will come fitted with a kill-switch, so the vehicle can be bought to a safe and controlled stop if the need arises.
Our kids’ driving experience days are not focussed on speed, and will take place away from other high-speed activities on the track. All children on our supercar experiences will be accompanied by a DBS checked, fully qualified instructor, who will ensure that they are safe and get the most enjoyment and fun out of their day as possible. We also ask that if you book one of our Junior Driving Experiences for a 10-16 year old that they are accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
And perhaps most importantly - make sure you bring a camera along. They’ll want to capture that moment on the track which will give them legend status with their friends for many months to come!
Booking a Junior Driving Experience
Whatever the occasion - birthday, Christmas, passing their exams, or even school being out for summer - our Junior Driving Experience packages make a great gift idea.
You can either purchase a gift voucher, or alternatively book onto an available date of your choosing using our events calendar. The majority of our experiences are available during the half term and school holidays, but in term time all dates will be on weekends.
It’s not many kids that get to go behind the wheel of an Audi or Jaguar during their summer break, but with our Junior Experience Days they can. And it’s not just supercars we have on offer for our young drivers.
Also available are our rally driving and truck driving experience days, as well as quad biking in Birmingham, off road 4x4 vehicles at Great Tew Estate in Oxfordshire, or Leyland DAF truck driving at North Weald Airfield in Essex. They can even go into battle with our incredible tank experience days!

Essential Booking Information for Junior Driving Experiences
There are two easy ways for you to purchase a Junior Driving Experience on Driving Experience. You can either purchase one of our driving experience days as a 10-month gift voucher or book directly onto a date of your choice.
If you cannot see any dates on the voucher page, then simply e-mail or call us and our customer service team can give you the most up to date availability. If you wish to make a bespoke package, or are interested in making one of our driving experiences into a group event, please contact us by going to our Group Booking page and filling in our enquiry form.
If you buy an open gift voucher for a Junior package, the standard validity period to use the voucher is 10 months. However, please make sure you check this first, as some Junior vouchers and special offers may have a shorter or longer validity.
If you are booking directly onto a date for a driving experience, please note that you are making a booking request, and the date and time that you choose will still be subject to availability.
We usually confirm bookings within 48 hours, but we ask that you do not make any arrangements in conjunction with your booking request until you have received your final confirmation email. The receipt we send you after making a booking request is not your confirmation.
