Norfolk Gliding Club Driving Experiences

Half an hour’s drive outside of Norwich in Norfolk, lies the pretty village of Tibenham. Its airfield - a former RAF and American Air Force base during World War II - is the site of Norfolk Gliding Club, which settled there in 1960.

Their civil aviation of gliding planes are still in operation there today, but it’s now also one of the newest additions to our venue books here on Driving Experience, offering the chance to enjoy a great driving experience day out in Norfolk or East Anglia.

Fans of the Fast & Furious series of films will be in their element, as many of the cars driven in the films by Paul Walker and Vin Diesel amongst others are available to book for a series of special Fast & Furious themed Blast (3 mile) driving days.

Cars on offer to take to the wheel of here include the Nissan Skyline GTR R34, the Chevrolet Camaro SS and the Toyota Supra 2JZ. An expert instructor is on hand to ensure your safety and give you pointers to get the most out of this unique driving experience, plus they’ll take control to let you enjoy a High Speed Passenger Ride to round off the day.

Want to drive some of the finest American muscle cars on an old US air force base? Our Triple Mustang Thrill is the ideal package for such an opportunity, as three classic Stateside heavyweights such as the Ford Shelby GT500 and Ford Mustang GT350 can be driven for a total of 6 miles each.

Some of the most desirable marques in the world are on offer at Tibenham as well, with our range of Supercar driving experiences. Turbo charged beasts including the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Porsche 911 and Aston Martin DB9 can be driven for just under £50, offering supercar power and thrills without the supercar price tag.

Most of the cars available to drive here are also available for young drivers to enjoy, with our range of Junior driving experience packages for those aged 10 - 17. They make a fabulous gift to surprise a son, daughter, niece or nephew with, whether it’s a birthday or even just passing their exams.
