Buckinghamshire is one of the main home counties, lying between Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire and London, with its main towns including Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Chesham.
We are pleased to offer a number of venues in and around the county that pay host to our Driving Lessons for Young Drivers and Under 17s. High Wycombe, for example, has two venues; one at Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, and another at Eden Shopping Centre, whilst over the border into Berkshire is Mereoak Park in Reading.
The sessions are run in lengths of either 30 or 60 minutes, offering plenty of opportunity to learn and master the basics of driving under an experienced and qualified instructor, on a layout that is carefully controlled and replicates real-life driving conditions as closely as possible. Some of the skills covered include basic skills such as changing gears, starting and stopping, accelerating and braking, road positioning, and recognizing signs, as well as more advanced skills such as navigating roundabouts, T-junctions, parking, reverse parking, and, in some locations, practising with traffic lights.
Depending on the package you choose, your driving lesson will take place in a dual-controlled manual or automatic car. Typically, lessons are conducted in vehicles such as a Vauxhall Corsa, Kia Ceed, or Mini Cooper S, ensuring a safe and comfortable learning experience.
