Positioned at the border where the East Midlands meets Yorkshire, Derbyshire is the home of the Peak District National Park, and is located next to Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. Its main towns are Derby, Chesterfield and Swadlincote.
For our Driving Lessons for Young Drivers and Under 17s, these are hosted at a number of venues both inside and outside of Derbyshire. In Derby itself is Derby Arena, whilst across the border into North Yorkshire is Elvington Airfield, and in Nottingham is the Clifton South Tram Park and Ride.
Over the course of their session - whether it is 30 or 60 minutes length - they'll get to learn and master basic driving skills and techniques under the guidance of an expert driving instructor, and all on a specially controlled layout that closely resembles real life driving conditions.
