Positioned at the border where the East Midlands meets Yorkshire, Derbyshire is the home of the Peak District National Park and is located next to Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. Its main towns are Derby, Chesterfield and Swadlincote.
Our Young Driver Training Sessions for under 17s are held at multiple venues across Derbyshire and beyond. In Derby, sessions take place at Derby Arena, while just over the border in North Yorkshire, learners can drive at Elvington Airfield. Additionally, in Nottingham, lessons are available at the Clifton South Tram Park and Ride.
We provide both 30-minute and 60-minute manual and automatic driving lessons that cover a wide range of driving skills. These include basic skills such as changing gears, starting and stopping, accelerating and braking, road positioning, and recognizing signs, as well as more advanced skills such as navigating roundabouts, T-junctions, parking, reverse parking, and, in some locations, practising with traffic lights. Under the guidance of an experienced driving instructor, learners can enjoy relaxed and safe sessions tailored to their confidence level, ensuring the best possible learning experience in a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
While you are here, check out our range of Junior Supercar Driving Experiences and take their driving experiences to the next level. Junior drivers aged 10 - 17 can also get to have the keys (albeit for the day) and get into gear with our exciting selection of Junior Supercar Blast and Thrill driving day packages, available to book at venues right across the UK from available dates on our Live Junior Events Calendar.
