Shenington Airfield, an 80-acre unlicensed private farm strip in Oxfordshire, England, is a welcoming destination. It is home to the Edgehill Gliding Centre (EGC) and the Shenington Karting Club. The airfield, located to the west of Shenington village on Rattlecombe Road, is easily accessible by both road and public transport. It is situated just 15 minutes from the nearest M40 junction, 90 minutes from London, and 60 minutes from Birmingham, making it a convenient choice for all visitors.

The airfield, steeped in history, was originally constructed in 1941 as RAF Edgehill. During World War II, it served as a base for various units, including No. 21 Operational Training Unit (OTU), No. 12 OTU, and the No. 1 Flying Training School RAF. In 1942, it was also used for flight testing. The airfield ceased operations as an RAF station in 1953 and later transitioned into a gliding airfield for Edgehill Gliding Centre.
