The iconic Dennis Sabre fire engine is what most people think of when they think of the main fleet of vehicles used by the Fire and Rescue services. And this awesome new driving blast package will get you behind the wheel of one, exclusively at our Bovingdon Airfield venue in Hertfordshire! Following your arrival and sign on, you'll have a 30 minute safety briefing which will cover all the main points of driving this unique vehicle. Then, following 4 sighting laps in the track taxi with the instructor at the wheel, you'll climb into the cabin to enjoy 4 driving laps with them beside you in the Dennis Sabre, with blues and twos flashing and sirens wailing! The day will end with a debriefing session that will help you on what to focus on on your next drive.

Can friends and family come to watch?
Yes. Spectators are welcome at most venues, and many locations have designated viewing areas. Some venues may charge a small entry fee.

Itinerary
- Arrival and sign on
- 30 Minute Introductory Classroom Briefing: Covering the basic elements of learning how to drive a supercar, incorporating the basics of steering input, pulling away safely, mirrors and vision, racing lines, throttle/braking techniques and track day safety etiquette
- 4 x Sighting Laps in our track prepared track taxi including a demonstration lap
- 4 x Driving laps in the Dennis Fire Engine
- Debrief from instructor to include development of driver training across the session

- You must be physically fit with no serious health conditions
- Glasses must be worn if necessary
- Flat soled shoes must be worn
- Helmets are supplied at the venue
- If you wish to book a weekend date you must pay a surcharge per driver

This experience is run on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Please note this experience has limited availability which is subject to rapid change.
Extras On The Day
Extra laps and passenger laps can be purchased on the day. Optional Damage Liability Reductions (ODLR) can be purchased on the day from £25. Without ODLR, drivers will be liable to pay the full insurance excess on any vehicle they damage.
Weather Conditions
In the case of severe weather, your event may be delayed or postponed. In this instance, you will be offered alternative dates. No refund will be offered.
