Our Junior Karting Session in Staffordshire is more than just an open kart session with extra tuition included. Before going out on the track, junior drivers will go to the briefing room to learn all about race craft including braking points, racing lines and cornering. This gives them a good basis of understanding before getting to the exciting part and going out on track to practice. 8-16 year olds will be driving on the Family Circuit, which is separate from the main circuit and is a smidge wider, which means there's more room for overtaking. The straights are a bit shorter and the corners a bit slower, which makes it suitable for juniors, but still full of the fun and challenge of a traditional course. Kids will be under the watchful eye of instructors to help build their confidence before having a go at The Final which is a chance for them to compete in a proper race with grid starting positions and start lights. To top everything off, this experience is complete with a traditional motorsport podium celebration, casting the winner of the race. This thoroughly fun, informative and thrilling outdoor karting session is not to be missed for young drivers keen to get some experience behind the wheel.
