After a one-of-a-kind military driving experience in Scotland? We think this will tick all the boxes for you, as you've got the opportunity to drive a 6x6 Pinzgauer at Scart Farm at the Bridge of Weir in Renfrewshire near Glasgow! First manufactured in Austria in 1971 by Steyr-Daimler-Puch, the Pinzgauer is so called because of the Austrian cattle of the same name - which gives some indication of what they're like to drive; reliable, built for all terrains, whilst showing impressive speed and power. Although production ceased on them in 2007, these 6 ton vehicles are still actively used in military and civilian heavy duty to this day. The Pinzgauer you'll be driving was formerly used by the British Army, and is a later Vector 718 armoured version that has previously served in Afghanistan. Scart Farm is the perfect environment for driving it, as it has lots of hilly and muddy terrains to explore, and the Pinzgauer itself is kitted out in full metal jacket camouflage for a truly authentic experience. An instructor will be with you in the cab throughout your drive, as you discover just how exhilarating this is to drive around the farm as you feel every movement!

Itinerary

- Learn how to drive the 6 ton vehicle under the supervision of the tank commander
- Drive the Pinzgauer across taxing terrain
