The Silverstone 4x4 Off Road Challenge and Adrenaline Rally - a unique and unrivalled driving experience that'll challenge and excite throughout. You'll take part in 2 separate sessions, starting with the Adrenaline Rally Experience, where you'll focus on power slides, hand brake turns and other rally driving techniques. In your second session, you'll be going off road. Starting with a safety briefing before strapping in taking control of your 4x4. With 4 wheel drive selected, you'll make your way to the first of four interlinking challenge areas. During your time behind the wheel, you'll be accompanied by an expert instructor who'll be giving you coaching and guidance as you attempt all four varying challenges.

How much driving time do you get?
Driving experiences are usually measured in laps or distance rather than time. The number of laps or miles is clearly shown on each experience page.

Can friends and family come to watch?
Yes. Spectators are welcome at most venues, and many locations have designated viewing areas. Some venues may charge a small entry fee.

Do you need a driving licence?
Most adult experiences require a full driving licence. However, junior and no-licence experiences are also available and clearly marked.

Itinerary
Adrenaline Rally Driving
- Basic principles and rally driving techniques classroom session (approximately 20 minutes)
- Session 1: Drive on a series of straights and ninety-degree corners mastering the techniques of handbrake turns.
- Session 2: Kick up some dust on an arched 200-meter sweeping bend taking the car sideways with some awesome powerslides.
- Session 3: Slide on our skid pan and learn the awesome technique of driving doughnut style! Have some serious fun sliding figure of 8's.
Silverstone 4x4 Off Road Challenge
- Off-Road safety briefing
- Challenge 1 - The Sky View: Turn the vehicle into a mountain goat. Drive up and over tree-lined steep inclines - the only view is the sky! Check out the tilt measurement on the dash, grab a photo on your phone. Steep descents, tight turns and rugged undulating pathways await you. Balance the vehicle across a 50 meter sideways tilt - ensure you keep it straight! Sounds easy, right? Wait till you have a go!
- Challenge 2 - The Sea Saw: Can you balance the vehicle on the sea saw, over 1 meter above the ground? How steady can you be creeping forward a millimetre at a time? Find the pivot point and balance - need to hold your breath! Drive around the rugged terrain with a few surprises to negotiate, line the vehicle up to the sea saw and have another go.
- Challenge 3 - The Troughs: Balance the vehicle through a series of differing land heights that pivot you at some incredible angles, check out the tilt degree on the dashboard. Climb the steep hill, then descend. Be prepared for a series of inclines and descents with no room for error!
- Challenge 4 - The Slope: Navigate through the trees on a steep slope - don't look down! Then tilt on the steep banks, navigating your path on narrow undulating tracks, working your way back to the finish with feedback from your personal instructors.

Please allow up to 2 ½ hours at the venue.

- You must hold a full manual driving licence
- Maximum height: 6ft 6in
- Maximum weight: 18 stone
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
- Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate
- There is no limit on spectators at the venue and no age restrictions (under 16’s must be supervised by an adult)
- Participants must be medically fit to take part
- Anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
- No dogs or other pets allowed on site
- Glasses must be worn if required for driving
- Drivers must be able to understand instructions given to them in English

Minimum Age: 17 years
Availability
The Rally School operates six days a week. This experience is available on selected Saturdays with occasional additional weekdays throughout the year.

Severe weather such as extreme high wind, heavy snow or ground frost may cause the course to be unsuitable to drive and the experience to be delayed or postponed. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.
