For the first time ever, you can look forward to taking the wheel of and mastering racing lines in a turbocharged supercar and enjoy the thrill of sideways driving in a drift spec Mazda MX5! With the opportunity to chase lap times and tap into your inner drifting superstar, there's plenty of action to be had on this awesome way to push your driving skills to the max over two very different styles of driving, with expert instructors offering you a full safety briefing as well as their tips and tricks to help you get the most fun out of what promises to be an incredible time on two tracks for the price of one!

How much driving time do you get?
Driving experiences are usually measured in laps or distance rather than time. The number of laps or miles is clearly shown on each experience page.

Can friends and family come to watch?
Yes. Spectators are welcome at most venues, and many locations have designated viewing areas. Some venues may charge a small entry fee.

Do you need a driving licence?
Most adult experiences require a full driving licence. However, junior and no-licence experiences are also available and clearly marked.

Itinerary
- Arrival and sign on
- Safety briefing covering racing lines, throttle and brake technique and track etiquette
Supercar Circuit
- 4 sighting laps including 1 high speed passenger lap to learn the track layout and build confidence
- 8 driving laps in your supercar*, with expert 1:1 coaching from your in-car instructor
Drift Circuit
- 4 sighting laps including 1 fully sideways high speed passenger lap in the Drift Taxi to show you the lines and transitions
- 8 driving laps in Mazda MX-5, learning power-oversteer, handbrake initiation and controlled slides with your instructor
* - Please note that whilst you can suggest your preference of supercar when booking, your supercar will be assigned to you on the day.
Duration
Please allow up to 1 ½ hours at the venue including driver safety briefing.
Order Information
Vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of purchase. Saturday dates can be booked for an upgrade fee but the timeslot is limited to 08:30 only. You can upgrade the validity when you order.
General
- A full Manual or Automatic UK licence or International drivers licence is required to partake in this experience.
- A full Manual UK licence is required to partake in the drifting element of this experience.
- In the event that you are an automatic licence holder and the automatic cars used on this experience are limited or unavailable on the day, you will be offered the chance to drive an automatic car from the upgrade fleet free of charge
- If you only have an automatic licence but have experience with stick and clutch, you may also choose a manual car, but this will be at the instructor's discretion
- You must be physically fit with no serious health conditions
- Glasses must be worn if necessary
- Flat soled shoes must be worn
- Helmets are supplied at the venue
- If you wish to book a weekend date you must pay a surcharge per driver
- When ordering a voucher or booking a date for Bovingdon Experiences you also agree to the additional Bovingdon Terms and Conditions
- Boost upgrade available on the day for £19, subject to availability and weather conditions

Availability
Selected weekday dates from January - December. Weekends run on selected Saturdays but require a surcharge to book (unless prepaid). Saturdays get booked up quickly so it's likely that only the early morning slots will be available unless you book well in advance.
Extras On The Day
Extra laps and passenger laps can be purchased on the day. Optional Damage Liability Reductions (ODLR) can be purchased on the day from £25. Without ODLR, drivers will be liable to pay the full insurance excess on any vehicle they damage.
Weather Conditions
In the case of severe weather, your event may be delayed or postponed. In this instance, you will be offered alternative dates. No refund will be offered.
