Aah, the holidays. For the next six or seven weeks, school’s out, summer’s in, and time off is in abundance. But even if you’re planning to staycation, there’s no doubt that you’ll be wanting to keep the kids entertained and get them out on exciting trips and activities?

Fortunately, at Driving Experience we’ve got you covered for the holidays, as we have a selection of driving experiences and activities that we think will keep the kids occupied during the break.

And best of all, with many fantastic locations and venues across the UK to book them at, there’s a great driving day out nearer to you than you may think, with fun for all the family to enjoy in the holidays.

Supercar driving experiences aren’t just on offer to our Adult drivers. Our range of Junior driving experiences can get kids aged 10 - 16 years old behind the wheel of the supercars that adorn the posters on their bedroom wall this summer.

Available in both Blast (3 mile) and Thrill (6 mile) options, there are a whole host of Junior supercar packages to suit all budgets and tastes. In the case of some packages, they can drive up to as many as five of the most exclusive supercars of their choice.

This includes stunning, turbocharged models like the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, the Nissan GT-R Nismo, the Porsche 911 and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage to name but several. They can even have a high speed passenger ride from an expert instructor to round off their day.

Movie Car Marathons

The holidays might present a rare opportunity to enjoy a movie marathon night together as a family, but we’ve also got a selection of Junior Movie Car Driving Experiences for kids that’ll let them live out the marathon of silver screen cars in real life too.

From James Bond’s signature Aston Martin 1975 Vantage from The Living Daylights, through to the Dodge Charger R/T, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Toyota Supra from the Fast and Furious franchise, again you can drive up to five famous film cars all on the same day.

They also come in Blast and Thrill options, with a high speed passenger ride to finish, with an expert, DBS checked instructor showing off what one of these million dollar cars can do out on the track.

Our Blacklands Farm and London Rally School venues are host to our range of exciting off road Quad Biking experiences. A particularly good activity for the kids to enjoy on those days in the holiday when it’s a little bit wetter than usual.

In the great outdoors of the Oxfordshire or Kent countryside respectively, open air driving delights await, including taking on a quad safari full of adventure that’ll see them tackle woodland, fields, straights, slaloms, mounds and plenty of mud.

It’s perfect fun for all the family, or it’s even good to organise as an activity for them and their school friends to enjoy as a celebration of their GCSE or A level exam results in August.

Drive Today, Experience for Tomorrow

Recent research has found that lack of experience behind the wheel is what results in 1 in 5 newly qualified drivers having an accident in their first six months as a driver. So at Driving Experience, we’ve taken the initiative to fill that gap.

If your kids are a year or two off their 17th birthday and applying for their Provisional Driving Licence to take driving lessons, we can get them ahead of the game with our range of Young Driver Training packages during the holidays.

This is both a fun and educational activity, which is also an investment in their future driving career, with a chance to learn and become accustomed to the basics and joy of driving on a special track simulated as closely as possible to real life road conditions.

And with the guidance of an ARDS approved expert instructor on the day, it takes off the added pressure they would otherwise feel, meaning they’ll become confident and relaxed drivers in no time at all.
