The fun doesn't stop with DrivingExperience just because it's a little bit chilly; in fact the action is hotter than ever over the winter period - and not just because many of our driving venues now run experiences year round.
That being said, there are some driving experiences that are perfectly suited for the winter months, plus the driving skills learnt can be used at any time of year.
Have a Gripping Time
While you're never two minutes away from a downpour in the UK, the actual wettest periods tend to be the autumn and winter months, making it a perfect opportunity to try a Skid Pan Control Experience.
We've a range of packages using real skid pans, meaning you'll be able to practise the art of skid control, a vital driving technique for the real world. You'll learn from experts on how to react in adverse conditions, possibly by applying cadence braking.
However, there's also time for some fun with challenges to put your newly found skills to the test. Away from the skid pan and DrivingExperience also has skid control driving courses.
You'll be joined by a qualified ARDS tutor to drive a manual car that's been customised to simulate low grip, helping to increase reaction times. These skid experiences are enjoyable and informative, while helping to boost driver confidence.

4x4s really come into their own in miserable weather, when other vehicles might be struggling with the conditions. So, if you've never driven a 4x4 before, or have tasted one and want to get back behind the wheel, then our 4x4 Off Road Driving Experiences are for you.
From Scotland to the south coast of England, challenge your driving skills across tough terrains including steep descents, sharp turns and rugged pathways. Starting with taster sessions through to full day experiences, winter is the perfect time to get muddy!
