Information About the Alpine A110S
Alpine's new A110S sports car was first introduced in 2017 as a continuation line of their original A110, one of the most iconic cars in continental Europe during the 1960s and 1970s during its first run of production.
Referencing a lot of the stylistic callbacks and design motifs of its predecessor, make no mistake the 21st century take on the A110 is suitably equipped to meet the demands of the modern day track circuit.
Sitting beneath the bonnet is a 1.8 litre turbocharged engine and a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox. And with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Performance Tyres offering excellent grip whatever the conditions, you can expect to accelerate from 0 - 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.
Cool Facts About the Alpine A110S
Alpine certainly don't have any intention of ending the A110S there. Since entering into partnership with Lotus, they now already have plans under way for its successor to enter production by 2025.
A GT4 version of the A110S, the Alpine A110 Cup, was unveiled by Alpine at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018, whilst a Rally version, the Alpine A110 Rally, was unveiled at the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine in September 2019.
Both GT4 and Rally variants have the engine boosted further, so the 1.8 litre engine is now four cylinder, meaning it can offer out between 320 - 330 bhp!
