Donington Park Driving Experiences

Donington Park is one of our venues here on Driving Experience that is steeped in history when it comes to motorsports and driving. Located near the M1 motorway, and with links from both Derby and Nottingham via the A52, it was originally formed as part of the Donington Hall estate.

Racing commenced there in 1932, which - save for a hiatus bought on by its use in WWII as a military storage facility - has continued unbroken since 1977. Most notably, it was the site of Ayrton Senna’s F1 victory in the European Grand Prix in 1993, so understandably it is one of our most popular venues for booking our Racing Car experience packages.

This includes our Arrive and Drive packages in either the simply engineered and built Caterham Roadsport SV or in a classic Ginetta G40. So much more than your regular driving experience, the price of the package also includes access to your own expert instructor for the whole day, and driving sessions in the morning and afternoon with lunch provided on site too.

Donington Park also hosts Supercar driving experiences, available in single, double or triple Thrill packages, which lets you take to the wheel of some of the fastest and most sought after supercar marques in the world, from the high precision power and engineering of the BMW i8 - the world’s first hybrid supercar - through to the Italian thoroughbreds of the Ferrari 430 and Lamborghini Gallardo.

There’s also the chance to climb into the cabin of some supersized drives from across the Atlantic, with our American Truck driving days. Available in Taster or Thrill options, under the guidance of a trained professional you’ll get driving time in a Kenworth W900L truck that’ll make you feel like you’re ready to do some serious trucking out in the dusty highways of the States.
