Similar to the pioneering YXZ1000R Turbo model driven to victory by Team X-raid in the Dakar Rally motorsports championship series, the small but super powered Yamaha YXZ1000R Dakar is the machine used on our recently added Dakar Rally Jump experience packages that are hosted at Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire. These experiences are the only one of their one kind in the world, offering rally enthusiasts everywhere the opportunity to - quite literally - take a leap of faith!
Powered on a 999c 3 cylinder engine, it offers out 120bhp, and is able to swiftly accelerate from 0-60mph in under 5 seconds. Top speeds it can achieve are around 85mph, and it weighs just 685kg, which of course, boosts its ability to take a death-defying jump in the air all the more.
