This was my son's first lesson so we booked an automatic, thinking that gear changes would be one less thing he'd need to concentrate on. Unfortunately, there must have been a mix up because he ended up in a manual car, but we didn't know that until afterwards. Nevertheless, he enjoyed the experience.
