Under 17s Driving Lessons in Loughborough

Loughborough is a lovely market town nestled in the Charnwood Borough of Leicestershire, in the East Midlands. If you’re on the lookout for Under 17 driving lessons, you’re in luck! There are plenty of great venues in and around town to help you get started.

Our popular Young Driver Training experiences take place at Clifton South Tram Park and Ride, just a short 24-minute drive from the town centre via the A453. Here, your kids and teens can participate in a 30-minute or 60-minute driving lesson in either a manual or automatic Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRi. This program allows them to build confidence behind the wheel while focusing on mastering essential driving skills, such as steering, braking, clutch control, and more, all within a specially designed course.

If you're interested in travelling a bit further, Young Driver Experiences are available at the Bicester Heritage Centre in Oxfordshire. It's about an hour and a half drive, accessible via the A43. They also offer the Firefly Sports Experience, specifically designed for children aged 4 to 10, giving even young kids their first taste of driving.

Besides our popular Young Driver Training Experiences, there are also a number of other similar driving lessons available nearby. At the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, your youngster can enjoy Firefly Sport Driving Experience, allowing kids aged 4 to 10 to learn driving skills in a miniature, fully functioning car. Each session lasts 20 minutes and is priced at just £25. The experience takes place on carefully designed circuit layouts that mimic real-life road conditions, providing a relaxed and enjoyable environment for learning.

Alternatively, they can sign up for a one-hour or half-hour junior driving lesson available at both Deenethorpe Airfield and Seighford Driving Centre, which are just over an hour's drive from Loughborough town. During these lesson, your child can learn the basics of driving in a dual-controlled manual Citroën C1. These hour-long and half-hour sessions are designed for kids aged 10 to 16, allowing them to gain behind-the-wheel experience through simulated road scenarios. The training takes place in a private area away from traffic, ensuring that the youngsters feel confident and safe as they learn to drive.
