Thousands of avoidable road collisions could be prevented this winter if Brits honed their skills behind the wheel by taking part in a track based driving day with us here at Driving Experience.

Our advice comes in the wake of The Department for Transport's latest figures, which reveal that wet, damp and flooded road surfaces were one of the major causes of reported accidents on Britain's roads in 2020, causing 25,974 injuries and 486 fatalities.

Meanwhile, wintry weather was another menace on Britain's roads last year, guilty of contributing to a further 747 injuries and 25 fatalities while snow, frost or ice was present.
