Four fantastic driving experiences with no licence needed

Four fantastic driving experiences with no licence needed - News

Yes, you did read that correctly. Ten supercars. And you may not believe that you don’t need a full driving licence in order to take to the wheel of ten of the most desirable and sought after marques of supercars in the world, but it’s true.

At a selection of four of our venues across the UK, from North Weald Airfield in Essex to Tockwith Motorsport Centre in North Yorkshire, you can enjoy time behind the wheel for 3 miles each in ten of the most exclusive of turbo charged beauties on offer.

Iconic, cool British classics like the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Jaguar F-Type R, Italian stallions like the Lamborghini Gallardo and Ferrari 430, and the futuristic hybrid power of the BMW i8 all await.

The choices, and indeed possibilities, are endless on this driving day. Best of all, your day rounds off in style with a 3 lap high speed passenger ride in that most powerful of all British sports cars, the Lotus Elise. So why have one supercar when you can have ten?

Many of today’s Formula 1 champions had their humble beginnings starting in go-kart racing - everyone from Sebastian Vettel to Lewis Hamilton. Some, like Mark Webber, even still love racing karts to this day.

Our Group Kart Grand Prix day, which takes place at our Buckmore Park venue in Kent, is a chance for you and your mates or family to explore the fun that’s to be had racing against each other around a specially prepared karting circuit.

After a welcome and briefing, a series of time trial heats will determine where your place is on the starting grid, followed by the grand finale race to decide who lifts the trophy at the end of the day. Will you or someone in your group have what it takes to come out on top?

Our range of other Karting Experiences at Buckmore Park also make a fantastic idea for an unusual Stag or Hen Do, or even as a Corporate booking for a team building exercise day!

Whilst actually getting to drive a Formula 1 car at Silverstone or Monte Carlo remains a pipe dream for many, a ride in a Formula 1 style racing car isn’t out of the question by any means with our Formula 1 Passenger Ride day at our Bicester Heritage Centre venue in Oxfordshire.

This unique racing driving day will see you hop into the passenger seat on a two seater Typhoon Turbo car. It is one of a kind in that it is the only such racing car that offers room for two and high octane speeds and power (200 bhp to be exact) that has to be witnessed to be believed.

Once kitted up, you’ll get to feel the adrenaline rush over a series of six high speed passenger laps from a professional racing instructor, and see just what a thrill it can be on all those challenging corners and long straights the race circuit has to offer!

Not feeling confident enough to take the steering wheels of some highly expensive motors into your hands? Or maybe you just fancy letting someone else do all the hard work? No problem! Our Six Supercar High Speed Passenger Ride Blast lets you do just that.

A total of six fantastic supercars from all around the world await for you to take a ride in for 3 miles each, as a professional instructor shows you just what they can really do out on the track circuit!

From the Audi R8 and Nissan R34 Skyline, through to Transatlantic classics like the Ford Mustang GT-50 and AC Cobra, the only thing you’ll have to worry about is which cars you’ll choose for your super six rides!
