Audi R8 V10 Plus Driving Experiences

Audi bought their long running V8 model into the present day in 2015 with production of their R8 V10 Plus model. First premiered at the Geneva Motor Show that same year, it shares something in common with another giant of the supercar world - the Lamborghini Huracan - in that both operate on the MSS (Modular Sports System) platform.

Being as this was the second incarnation of the R8, you may be forgiven for thinking that Audi might suffer from ‘Difficult Second Album Syndrome’ with the R8 V10 Plus, especially when the first generation was in production for nearly 10 years. But that’s thankfully not the case, as you’ll discover when you take to the wheel of one.

It still retains the same 5.2 litre V10 engine that its predecessor had, and packs a phenomenal 550 bhp. And just wait until you see the speed stats: a thundering top speed of 204 mph, and the capability to zoom from 0 - 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, making it even faster than what came before.

The R8 V10 Plus has also been made available in Spyder convertible and RWS (Rear Wheel Series) models in the years since its launch. The Spyder came first in 2016, after being launched at the New York International Auto Show that same year, with the RWS following in 2017 with a showcase at the International Motor Show in Germany.

Most recently, in 2018, Audi also launched a performance car model, called the Audi R8 Spyder V10 Performance Quattro, with a much more sharper, angular design that improved its aerodynamic performance. This model went on sale in 2019.

Please double-check the experience's age, height, and weight limitations, as well as the driver's licence requirements. If the driver does not meet the requirements on the day, they may be denied permission to drive and instead allocated to a passenger experience. If a vehicle is unavailable for whatever reason, the venue will do everything possible to find a suitable replacement.
