The R8 V10 Spyder shares much in common with its coupe model, including the equipping of a 5.2 litre V10 engine, offering 517 bhp.
But one of the main differences between the R8 V10 and the R8 V10 Spyder is that the chassis has extra support, weighting it even more to its rear wheel drive, offering fantastic handling and grip on the road of track.

You may be wondering why the R8 V10 Spyder was much speculated about for as long as it was? Step forward the makers of the Iron Man 2 movie, released in 2010, when candid shots of the supercar being used for a key scene in the sequel were leaked to the press in August 2008, almost 18 months before it became commercially available.
