Formula Jordan Driving Experiences

Our Formula 1 Jordan racing car is the latest addition to our fleet. This 600 bhp single seater racing car has a carbon fibre chassis, and forged OZ racing wheels to the Jordan GP specification. The brakes are Brembo callipers with carbon fibre discs and the engine can rev up to an astonishing 10,500rpm; creating nearly 600 bhp. What this all adds up to is a seriously fast racing car with unbelievable handling and acceleration, which we have available to drive over three fantastic driving experience days at our Bovingdon Airfield venue in Hertfordshire through dates and gift vouchers at DrivingExperience.com.

Information About the Formula Jordan F1 Single Seater

Designed and built by Jordan Grand Prix, the constructor founded by motor racing pundit Eddie Jordan, the Formula One Jordan Single Seater model is exclusive to our Bovingdon Airfield venue in Hertfordshire, and is available on the only genuine Jordan F1 driving experience of its kind anywhere in the world.

This Chassis 1 EJ12 chassis is the only Jordan model left in a drivable condition. It was produced at a cost of £4.5 million, so you know even before you take to the cockpit that you are in the presence of an extraordinary racing car.

Built on a full carbon fibre composite monocoque, which helps it stay lightweight (600 kg) and thus boosts its aerodynamic capabilities, and is powered on a 3.0 litre Judd engine that helps it roar out with 600 bhp and rapid acceleration from 0 - 60 mph in around 5 seconds, whilst achieving top speeds of over 100 mph.

Cool Facts About the Formula Jordan F1 Single Seater

Debuted at the 2002 Australian Grand Prix, the Formula 1 Jordan was driven by Italy’s Giancarlo Fisichella and Japan’s Takuma Sato. Whilst it was only around for that season, it performed respectably, including achieving four top 5 finishes at the Austrian, Japanese, Monaco and Canadian Grand Prix championships that year.
