First showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016, the Jaguar F-Type SVR succeeded the F-Type R, and is currently Jaguar’s very latest high performance sports car, produced by their Special Vehicle Operations division.
The changes they made to the F-Type SVR from its successors was very slight, but made all the difference, with the magnesium framed seats more than 8 kg lighter than the F-Type R, and new trim pieces.
Plus, there’s also the option to download an app from Jaguar that is compatible with the SVR, that overlays speed, revs, G-force loadings and other information over footage taken with a compatible GoPro camera.
Powering on this Jaguar comes from its 5.0 litre V8 engine, that roars effortlessly out with a superb 567 bhp. It’s also faster than its predecessor, zipping from 0 - 60 mph in an eye watering 3.5 seconds, with a top speed in excess of 200 mph.
