The R8 marked the beginning of Audi’s move into supercar manufacturing. It therefore makes it the ideal supercar for your young petrolhead to make their track debut on for our Junior Audi R8 Driving Experience days. It’s extremely popular with our junior drivers, and little wonder when it comes kitted out with everything on kids’ supercar wishlists: brash and bright sound, express performance and ultra cool design.

When it comes to your child’s safety, rest assured all our young driving experience participants will be required to wear a safety helmet at all times when in control of the vehicle, as well as being under the guidance of a fully trained, expert instructor before and during their ride.

The average driving time for our Junior Audi R8 driving experiences is approximately 10-15 minutes, but at certain venues, there is the option to upgrade this on the day. Some of our packages even come with extras such as a high speed Audi R8 passenger ride.

But for an extra special day out or gift idea, we offer them the chance to get in the turbo boosted, Audi R8 V10 Plus as part of our Junior Platinum Driving Experience. Motor master status with their mates guaranteed, plus you in their good books for years to come, equals maths lessons we like!

This experience, and all our Junior Supercar Experiences are available at some of the greatest race track and circuit track venues nationwide at a location near you. They can be bought as a gift voucher or booked on to an available time and date of your choosing from our events calendar - so that’s their ultimate gift idea sorted.

To take part in our Junior Audi Driving Experience days, and drive our top available R8 and R8 V10 Plus models, we require that all juniors are aged between 10 - 17 years old, and reach our minimum height requirement of 4’ 10” (147cm). No driving licence is required on our Junior Driving Experience days.

There are two easy ways for you to purchase a Junior Audi Driving Experience on Driving Experience. You can either purchase one of our driving experience days as a 10-month gift voucher or book directly onto a date of your choice.

If you cannot see any dates on the voucher page, then simply e-mail or call us and our customer service team can give you the most up to date availability. If you wish to make a bespoke package, or are interested in making one of our driving experiences into a group event, please contact us by going to our Group Booking page and filling in our enquiry form.

If you buy an open gift voucher for a Junior Audi package, the standard validity period to use the voucher is 10 months. However, please make sure you check this first, as some Junior Audi vouchers and special offers may have a shorter or longer validity.

If you are booking directly onto a date for a driving experience, please note that you are making a booking request, and the date and time that you choose will still be subject to availability.

We usually confirm bookings within 48 hours, but we ask that you do not make any arrangements in conjunction with your booking request until you have received your final confirmation email. The receipt we send you after making a booking request is not your confirmation.

Other important things to consider when purchasing driving experiences for Junior Audi is that the young driver meets all requirements in terms of age, weight and height. These requirements are unique to each driving experience, so please ensure you have read the important information thoroughly. If you place a booking for a driving experience, and the driver doesn’t meet the requirements on the day, then it is unlikely they will be able to drive the vehicle, in which case they will be offered a passenger ride.
