Anglesey Circuit
The iconic Mini, originally produced by British company British Motor Corporation starting in 1959, is renowned in British culture and appeared in the late '60s hit The Italian Job. The Mini has a space saver, traverse Engine which in turn allows the car 80% space for passengers and their respective luggage. This conception was noted to have been an enormous influence for car makers nationwide.
With its punchy 1.3 litre engine and 63 bhp, this little machine should not be underestimated. It’s magnificent handling and lightweight make this an absolutely exhilarating drive. It may not have the fastest acceleration demonstrating 0-60mph in 12 seconds, but it’s the feeling of driving the Mini and understanding it’s cultural importance which is why it’s so special.
The Old Style Mini sadly stopped production in 2000, making these vehicles a rare commodity on the roads. However, since then their stock has continuously risen as people attempt to get their hands on these now classic automobiles!
