Information About the Aston Martin DB9
It’s hard to know how to improve on a classic, especially one with such heritage as the DB5. But Aston Martin proved they were more than up to the task when they designed and produced the DB9 model.
It was also the supercar favourite’s move into producing a more visible, universally appealing model, with between 1400 - 1500 produced every year. In the DB9, there’s all the comfort and luxury you’d expect from an Aston Martin, with a walnut wood and leather finish to the interior, and gadgetry including a Dolby Prologic sound system with Bluetooth and Sat Nav capabilities.
Its largely aluminium exterior - with composite materials making up the bonnet and bumper - means this is also one of the lightest Aston Martin models around, which, as you would expect, means it boasts an impressive top speed of 189 mph, and accelerates from 0 - 60 mph in 5.1 seconds.
Cool Facts About the Aston Martin DB9
First showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003, the DB9 is so named as the ‘DB’ refers to David Brown, who was the owner of Aston Martin for much of its operating years to date. Although the successor to the DB7, it was chosen to be called the DB9 to avoid any confusion over whether or not it ran on a V8 engine.
The DB9 has also been adapted into two racing car counterparts by Aston Martin Racing, the Aston Martin DBR9 and DBRS9, the former of which has gone onto win pole position at American Le Mans Series, the FIA GT Championship and also its debut year at 12 Hours of Sebring in 2005.

Aston Martin Driving Experiences: Important Booking Information
You may either buy a 10-month gift certificate for one of our driving experience days or book straight onto a date of your choosing.
If no dates are available on the voucher page, please e-mail or phone us and our customer service staff will provide you with the most up-to-date information. Please contact us by visiting our corporate days page and filling out our inquiry form if you want to create a custom package or if you want to turn one of our driving excursions into a group or corporate event.
If you purchase an open gift voucher for an Aston Martin package, the voucher's normal validity term is 10 months. Please double-check this, as certain Aston Martin coupons and special offers may have a shorter or longer validity period.
If you schedule a driving experience on a certain day, please keep in mind that you are making a reservation request, and the date and time you choose are still subject to availability.
We typically confirm reservations within 48 hours, however we ask that you wait until you get your final confirmation email before making any plans related to your booking request. The confirmation we give you when you submit a booking request is not the same as the receipt we send you.
Another essential factor to consider when buying Aston Martin driving experiences is that the driver fulfils all age, weight, height, and driving licence criteria. Because each driving experience has its own set of needs, please read the essential information carefully.
If an experience is exclusively for younger drivers, we will generally indicate it in the package name, although this is not always the case. If you arrange a driving experience and the driver does not satisfy the criteria on the day of the experience, it is doubtful that they will be allowed to drive the car, and they will be given a passenger trip instead.
