If you’re wondering where the inspiration for the Vantage V8’s design came from, it was from Aston Martin’s Vulcan track car, and custom built DB10 model that featured in the 2015 James Bond film Spectre. The Vulcan in particular was a big influence on the design of the front grille of the Vantage V8 which helps its cooling system function.

The Vantage V8 has also been adapted into several specially prepared motorsport models for the race track; the Aston Martin Vantage GTE in 2018, and then the Aston Martin Vantage DTM in 2019.
