Chevrolet Stingray Driving Experiences

Chevrolet’s classic 1964 Corvette Stingray model is a shining example of why they have remained one of the most iconic and revered marques when it comes to American muscle cars.

Not least because of its starring role in the 1978 comedy caper flick Stingray, which means that it features in many of our Movie Car Packages we have available to book on DrivingExperience as a result.

Painted in a dazzling Stars and Stripes livery, visually, it is impressive, but it crucially delivers a driving experience that only pure automotive Stateside brawn can deliver, powered on a V8 engine packing 600 bhp.

For a car of this time, it’s also surprisingly fast once you take to the wheel, with top speeds of 150 mph, and the ability to cruise from 0 - 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.

When the 1964 Corvette Stingray was unveiled, it went on to break a new sales record for Chevrolet that the original model had set a year previously, with units of over 22,000 produced.
