Information About the Dodge Charger R/T
The last of their second generation of this model, produced in 1970, the Dodge Charger R/T has the classic looks and design you’d expect of an American muscle car from the turn of the decade and what was the start of a golden era of Stateside motoring.
In terms of design for this Charger, Dodge created a large wraparound chrome bumper, a double divided grille and new electric headlight doors which replaced the old vacuum ones that had been a feature of preceding Charger R/T models in 1968 and 1969.
Powered on a souped up V8 engine offering 425 bhp, this is a seriously special classic muscle car to drive, capable of top speeds of 145 mph, with the ability to zip from 0 - 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
