Under 17s Driving Lessons in Barrow-In-Furness

The port town of Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria is at the most south westerly point of the county, overlooking the Irish Sea and connecting England to the Isle of Man, and is the second largest town here after Carlisle.

Whilst our hugely popular Young Driver Training packages aren't hosted at any venues in Barrow itself, Cumbria does border with other counties in the North West of England, which do host them over 30 minute or 60 minute sessions, at venues including DW Stadium in Wigan and Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool.

The biggest benefit to booking our Driving Lessons for Under 17s - which includes our Young Driver Training and also our Firefly Sport Experiences, run in 20 minute sessions for 5 - 9 year olds - is how they help gain driving skills before they can take their lessons with their provisional licence.

By learning to master the basic techniques of driving on a specially laid out course designed to simulate driving out on the roads, it offers some prior experience that they can carry forward with them once they pass their driving test and become a newly qualified driver.

They'll be learning under an experienced driving instructor, who will offer them encouragement and guidance throughout as they take the wheel of a dual controlled or automatic car.
