The DB5 was the natural successor from the DB4 series, but boasting a much larger 4.0 litre engine with 282 bhp compared to the DB4’s 3.7 litre engine. It’s not just in Bond films that the Aston Martin DB5 has enjoyed some silver screen action. Amongst the other blockbusters it has appeared in, it was driven by Bernie Mac’s character Jimmy Bosley in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle in 2003, and it was also driven by Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2002 film Catch Me If You Can.

Interestingly, the DB5 was also driven by the late Sir Roger Moore before he was even Bond, when he starred in the cult TV series The Saint in 1964, in an episode titled ‘The Noble Sportsman’. This particular model bore the same number plate used for the DB5 when it appeared in the 1964 installment of Bond, Goldfinger, starring Sean Connery.

Another essential factor to consider when buying Aston Martin driving experiences is that the driver fulfils all age, weight, height, and driving licence criteria. Because each driving experience has its own set of needs, please read the essential information carefully.

If an experience is exclusively for younger drivers, we will generally indicate it in the package name, although this is not always the case. If you arrange a driving experience and the driver does not satisfy the criteria on the day of the experience, it is doubtful that they will be allowed to drive the car, and they will be given a passenger trip instead.
