Ford Zetec S Driving Experiences

Part of their sixth generation of models under the Fiesta Zetec name - which had attracted a very sizable following of its own in the fifth generation of models from 1995 to 2002 - the Ford Fiesta Zetec is Ford’s sportier cousin of their standard Fiesta models, and a fine example of a modern day hot hatchback since it was launched in 2009.

And whilst it is amongst the smaller vehicles we have available to book for driving experiences here at TrackDays, this is one pocket rocket of a car that’s not to be underestimated, and when you take to the wheel of a Fiesta Zetec S you’ll understand why.

Powered on a 1.6 litre, 4 cylinder, 16 valve engine, offering 118 bhp, it zips from 0 - 60 mph in 9.8 seconds, and you could achieve a top speed of 120 mph when you take it out for a range of driving experiences, including our popular Stunt driving packages we have available to book at fantastic locations like Castle Combe and the historic Silverstone race track.

Across all its generations, the Ford Fiesta - including the Zetec S model - has remained an incredibly popular car here in the UK. Its biggest year of sales was 2014, when over 130,000 new models were produced and sold. In total, over 1.3 million have been made and sold.

The Fiesta Zetec S has also been an award winner for Ford. In its launch year in 2009, it won the title of Car of the Year by What Car? Magazine, and also picked up Car of the Year and Best Supermini at Auto Express magazine’s New Car Awards.
