Known as a variant of the Shelby Mustang, which were the high performance versions of the Ford Mustang, the Ford Mustang GT 350 was produced between 1965 and 1966, and with its distinct wide bonnet and front wing and broad wheelbase, is instantly recognisable to fans of American muscle cars from a golden era of Stateside motoring.
These two seater titans of US Grand Tourer drives are equipped with racing suspension, and a large 4-barrel Holley 715 CFM carburetor and a high-riser intake manifold within its supercharged V8 engine, bumping a phenomenal 306 bhp.
It undoubtedly makes the Mustang GT 350 one of the most powerful muscle cars for that time, and one that delivers on handling and speed, with blisteringly fast acceleration from 0 - 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, and achievable top speeds of 134 mph.

The Ford Mustang GT 350 was very much a cross-State production. Built and delivered from Ford’s assembly plant in San Jose, they were then modified by Shelby Carroll at their operating base in Venice Beach and at Los Angeles International Airport. Models produced from 1968 onwards came from their plant in New Jersey.
For fans of drag racing, the Mustang GT 350 quickly became a popular car for this American genre of motorsport. In fact, when Ford first produced the Mustang GT 350, a total of 36 GT 350 R models were made for racing, the first of which zoomed to victory in February 1965 at the Green Valley race in Texas.
